As you may know, in Spain, the Council of Ministers, meeting on March 14, 2023, approved the Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work (EESST) 2023-2027, resulting from the consensus between the General State Administration, the Autonomous Communities and the social partners. Due to the time elapsed, an update of Law 31/1995 on Occupational Risk Prevention would probably be necessary.

Many new techniques and scientific evidence have been added to the identification of new potentially hazardous substances, as well as to the exposure limit levels. Therefore, protocols and risk prevention measures have had to be adapted.

In this regard, PUROH is an innovation that appears to revolutionize the entire field of elimination of these toxic substances. PUROH is a technology based on replicating the natural phenomenon of the well-known Open-Air Factor. The disinfectant role of outdoor air has been known in medicine for centuries, but it was only recently discovered that it is produced by the large amount of neutral hydroxyl radicals that are produced in the upper layers of the atmosphere due to the action of the sun, oxygen, and water vapor.
