PUROH technology is based on the well-known Open-Air Factor principle, which occurs in the upper layers of the atmosphere, called natural detergent. PUROH replicates this reaction in a device that lightly ozonates a peroxide cartridge and causes a chain reaction of neutral Hydroxyl Radicals OH·. This chain reaction spreads through the environment differently depending on the air currents and humidity and temperature conditions.
On the one hand, the Open-Air Factor attacks the membrane of pathogenic microorganisms by denaturing it, causing their elimination. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated and published in the main strains of pathogenic microorganisms: bacteria, viruses, and fungi by internationally accredited centers and laboratories.
In addition, the radicals mineralize the volatile organic compounds present in the aerosols typical of environments where grain is handled. It does so in four stages until converting them into harmless substances such as oxygen, water, or soluble carbonates.
