Occupational Risk Prevention

In Spain, on March 14, 2023, the Council of Ministers approved the Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work (EESST) 2023-2027, which resulted from consensus among the General State Administration, the Autonomous Communities, and social partners. Given the time elapsed, an update to the Law 31/1995 on the Prevention of Occupational Risks would probably be necessary.

Many new techniques and scientific evidence have been added to the identification of new potentially hazardous substances, as well as to the exposure limit levels. Therefore, risk prevention protocols and measures have had to be adapted.
