As a professional who faces different allergic reactions from a multitude of patients, we know that apart from trying to treat the body’s reaction with the therapeutic arsenal available today, once the cause or origin has been identified, a basic recommendation is to try to avoid contact with the allergen/s.

As it is not always possible to have a clear etiology, or if the patient finds it difficult to avoid exposure to that allergen (cases where there is a pet at home, dust mites or dust, air conditioning fungi, etc.), a good practice is to try to eliminate most of them from the allergic person’s environment. So far, the recommendations include, among others, vacuuming the home or workplace well, ventilating or using air filters, checking and renewing filters in air conditioning or ventilation ducts, and using products without volatile organic compounds. These good practices reach a certain threshold of protection, but they are not always effective since sometimes the origin of the allergen cannot be avoided or is unknown (components in cleaning products, cosmetics, composition of household dust, etc.).

However, PUROH definitively solves this problem with another approach: the air and surface purification technology based on the generation of the Open-Air Factor with neutral hydroxyl OH radicals. With a portable and economical device that emits a disinfectant radical reaction, PUROH manages to eliminate the most frequent allergens: pollen, fungi, dust mite waste, animal epithelia, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as formaldehyde and other chemicals. PUROH mineralizes VOCs in a four-stage reaction, transforming them into harmless compounds such as oxygen, water or soluble carbonates.

This reaction has been known for some time as it occurs regularly in the upper layers of the atmosphere in a natural process called Advanced Oxidation. PUROH purifies continuously. Due to its size, it can be adapted to the car. It can be transported to the workplace. It is not an air purifier with filters because they are unable to circulate all the air in a home quickly without being very expensive, noisy, and large. Furthermore, they do not eliminate allergens deposited on surfaces.
